Wombat Man isn’t just a character. It’s a world.
Welcome to Wombalonga - a place full of adventure, imagination, and a growing cast of unique animal heroes. At the centre of it all is Wombat Man, a brave and curious hero who is always ready to help his friends, explore new places, and solve problems along the way.
About the Creator
Wombat Man was created by Leigh Cunningham, a designer with over 30 years of experience in branding, graphic design, illustration and visual storytelling.
Throughout his career, Leigh has worked with a wide range of clients, helping to build brands, design websites and create visual identities. But alongside this, he has always had a passion for storytelling and illustration.
Wombat Man began as a personal project, an opportunity to finally create and publish his own children’s book. What started as a single idea quickly grew into something much bigger.
Today, Wombalonga is an expanding world of stories, characters and creative experiences, with over 30 original characters and more on the way.
Leigh continues to write, design and develop the Wombat Man universe, combining his professional design background with a love of imaginative storytelling to create engaging, fun and accessible content for children.
A Growing World
Wombalonga is now home to over 30 original characters, each with their own personality, role, and story to tell.
From clever problem-solvers to brave adventurers, every character is designed to spark imagination and encourage creativity. The world continues to expand with new locations, new stories, and new activities for children to explore.
